Texas

I am back!!! I am sorry it has been so long since my last update. It has been crazy busy with moving, getting the house ready, running the kids around, and much more. I hope everyone is well. It has been interesting getting to know Central Texas. In the mist of many cornfields and sunflower fields there is a town called Belton. Here there are many Mexican Restaurants, a Walmart, along with a FEW other things that really have no real significance. This is a watertower going into the town.

On the Forth of July we went to the Belton Parade. This was quite a experience. There were many horses and cars, but nothing topped the ancient, old man that road on a lawn mower pulling about 30 wagons behind him with all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren sitting in the wagons. It was quite a site to see. It was the happenin' place though. I was in the mist of everyone within a 100 mile radius of Belton. We had fun though. After the parade we went to a cookout at one of our neighbors house. That was nice to meet some of the people in the area. They were a military family that worked at the hospital with Wilma.

In the evening we went to Fort Hood to "Freedom Fest." It rained out so we went back on Saturday and saw the Infantry band play and got to see lots of beautiful fireworks. It was really neat and We all had a great time. Pictured here is Chris, Sydney, Joshua, Wilma, and "Papa" (Chris' dad).
Please be in prayer with me as I search for a church family and for friends. It has been a challenge getting used to this move. I still know though, "My God will supply all (my) needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and eve. Amen" I love and miss you all. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi Hope! What a coinsidence--your mom just left my house after a great visit! Were your ears ringing? (an old saying) I was telling her that when we lived S. of Houston (Clear Lake City) we used to drive up to Killeen and go antiquing. TX is great--especially in the spring with the Blue Bonnets and Paint Brush blooming.
Wraying for you to quickly adjust to your new surroundings and to find good and godly friends.

I love the picture of the flowers and that parade sounds like something that would happen in Anderson!! or something in Tryon more likely..anyways, I hope that you find a great church soon, but if you don't have faith that the Lord will supply for your needs! I love you!

It looks like Belton, TX is the place to be. I will be praying that the Lord provides you with great Christian friends!
