Good Southern Cooking

Aloha,
I am sorry I have not written in a while but things have been busy. I am still adjusting to the time difference and so I have been taking some naps lately. The place here is beautiful. I still have not seen any water but hopefully before too long I will get to. What I have seen has been very green and alive, unlike South Carolina where everything is pretty dead. The winter flowers are out are so pretty. I have enclosed a picture of a flower that was taken in the back yard. The family is great. They are very health conscious so that has been kind of a hard thing to get used to since I am used to good Southern cooking. (lots of fried food, breads, and pastas) Maybe it will be good for me! I have my own room and bathroom that is shared with the rest of the downstairs but is for my use. I am driving a Honda Odyssey. It is really nice since I am carting the kids and dog around alot. I have only met one other family that lives on "post" that has 10 kids with # 11 on the way. They have been very sweet and hospitable to me. They attend the PCA church here and have invited me over to cook them a good Southern meal sometime. I am excited about meeting more families tonight when I go to the Bible study that meets at the local PCA church. They are doing a study about Creation vs. Evolution, which should be very interesting. I will write more about that when I actually attend. I hope this letter finds everyone well. God Bless!
